Place brush on the terrace by 7:00 a.m. with the cut ends toward the road. Please leave branches as long as possible as this will save you and our crews' time. Brush is considered limbs and branches from trees and large shrubs. All other woody vegetation such as plant stalks, small bush trimmings, etc. will not be collected. This type of material can be taken to the compost site on Highway Q. south of the Village. If you have a contractor trim or prune your trees or bushes, they are responsible for the removal of the brush. Collection begins Monday and is completed within the week when Public Works has gone through the entire Village.
October 21, 2019, 7:00 AM - 4:15 PM
Fall Leaf Collection will begin on September 30 and end on November 27. Please remember to keep the branches and leaves separate from each other. Both items must be on the terrace in front of your house, not in the road. There will be no leaf pick-up in the alleys and leaves in plastic bags must be removed from the bags before pick-up. Leaves may also be taken to the compost site on County Trunk Highway Q south of the Village.

The Dane County Time Bank’s “neighbors helping neighbors” matches people in need of a task or service, such as yard work, with someone who can provide it. Time Bank members receive one “time dollar” for each hour of their service, which can then be used to access needed services from other individuals or organizations in the network. Learn how to get involved and start time sharing.

We are eager to hear from you and your neighbors in this comfortable and informal setting. If you are unable to attend but have something you would like to discuss with us, please contact Village Administrator Todd Schmidt at 608-850-5227 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
